German-Indian Business Centre (GIBC)

gibc Hannover - German-Indian Business Center The Indian economy has a great deal to offer. In particular, the IT sector, biotech sector as well as machine construction are growing quickly and sustainably.  Around 260,000 Indian engineers complete their university education each year.  Know-how from the Far East which is valued throughout the world and which also has a future in Hannover.

The German-Indian Business Center (GIBC) helps Indian companies in realising their business ideas and supports concrete relocation in Hannover Region. The aim is to utilise the IT know-how of Indian firms for the location of Hannover. Initiated at the start of 2006 by the  Ministry for the Economy, Work and Transport of the Region of Lower Saxony and hannoverimpuls, the GIBC is now already an established platform for the start and expansion of long-term economic partnerships.

Since CeBIT 2007 the GIBC has cooperated with the largest electronics and IT trading organisation from India, the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC).

The German-Indian Business Center offers:

•    Help in the authorisation process at local authorities
•    Financing
•    Marketing
•    Personnel management
•    Legal and tax advice
•    Support in daily operations (translations)
•    Finding office and work space
