The Hannover Region is home to a big community of educational institutions with a university, applied science universities, multimedia training schools and several other institutions. These underpin the broad spectrum of training available in the area in the information and communications technology sector.
With some 25.000 students, the university is one of the largest higher education institutions in Lower Saxony. Students can choose from more than 60 disciplines. The range of subjects extends from science and engineering via the arts, humanities and social sciences through to the fields of law and economics.
