The economic and technological potential of six key sectors - Automotive, Energy Solutions, Information and Communication Technology, Life Sciences, Optical Technologies and Production Engineering are being strengthened by the realisation of selected projects. An important aspect when it comes to cooperation specifics is the integration of key players from industry and science in each sector. hannoverimpuls aims to bring together and further develop the key sectors in clusters and competence centres.

hannoverimpuls has also identified the provision of qualified staff in the key sectors as another significant growth factor. “hannoverimpuls Vocational Training” was therefore developed in cooperation with well known companies in the Hannover Region in order to to establish more positions for trainees and to improve training quality, primarily in the focus sectors of hannoverimpuls.

Our relocation activities harness the strengths and skills in the region for the international positioning of the Hannover Region as a business location.

We facilitate innovative start-up competitions and needs-oriented seminars at universities for all potential start-up entrepreneurs as part of our active start-up assistance.
