Young technology firms with a high capital requirement from Hannover Region are supported in financing their innovations by hannover innovation fund (hif). As a regional fund, hif always finances in collaboration with a co-investor and always in the early stage of a company's development. The ideas competition for start-up founders which is a joint initiative by Sparkasse Hannover (i.e. Savings Bank) and hannoverimpuls promotes plans to make a new company from a good business idea. The winner of the competition receives prize money and comprehensive consultancy. Whether a student in a professional orientation phase, scientist, craftsman or inventor – what is decisive is that the idea can be implemented in a business setting and will take place in Hannover Region.
