Production engineering has been at home in Hannover for a long time. Research and production, classical machine and tool construction right up to technical services – Hannover is nationally and internationally a leading location for the production engineering sector. The scientific heart is the Produktionstechnisches Zentrum Hannover (PZH) (i. e. Hannover Production Technology Centre). Many industrial and young technology companies work and research under one roof here at the production engineering institute of the Leibniz Universität Hannover over an area of 20,000 m². Together with the PZH, hannoverimpuls supports young start-up companies and potential relocations from the field of production engineering.
hannoverimpuls helps as well to find the contacts: for example, as a co-exhibitor at our stand at the Hannover Messe trade fair or through membership in the Hannover Fabrik (i.e. Hannover Factory Registered Association). This contact network is the most comprehensive platform for the collaboration of medium-sized production engineering companies from Hannover Region.

Hannover Fabrik e.V. (i. e. Hannover factory registered association)
The Hannover Fabrik e.V. is the network for production and production engineering in Hannover Region. Companies and research facilities work together within this framework on a range of diverse technologies and areas of value creation. The projects range from systematic exchange of information, creating bidding communities through to the shared use of production capacities right up to long-term joint ventures.
